Neuro + Market Research = A Match Made in Heaven. Why Incorporate Neuromarketing into your Mix?

We were fortunate enough to have Dr. Amit Patel of Medical Marketing Economics and Dr. Hirak Parikh of The Neuromarketing Labs speak about neuromarketing at a recent QRCA DC Chapter meeting here at Observation Baltimore.

In the video below, Dr. Parikh explains how watching different ads affects different areas of the brain, each ad causing its own unique pattern of brain activity. He also explains how the areas of the brain that are shown to be affected correspond with emotions demonstrated by the viewer. This data can be extrapolated to predict how a person might react to an ad, and how their brain activity may dictate their behavior. What is crucial to remember with neuromarketing is that with higher than 75% certainty, this neuro-feedback method can predict whether or not your ad will inspire action from your target audience. It can also isolate ads that are entertaining, but will not convert to sales for your target group.
