As cyber crimes continue to be an alarming trend, we at Observation Baltimore wanted to take a few minutes to confirm our commitment to ensuring that all information gathered for the purpose of conducting market research is properly safe-guarded as set forth in the MRA Code of Marketing Standards.
From the first email correspondence through final project deliverables hand-off, the importance of maintaining the integrity and security of information is of the utmost importance. All employees at Observation Baltimore adhere to strict guidelines and protocols when handling client and respondent information. Beginning with execution of non-disclosure agreements during one’s first day of employment, each employee is expected to conduct all business practices with the highest ethical standards.
Information obtained for the purpose of conducting market research is safe-guarded both electronically and under lock and key. Members of the senior management team maintain password-protected files with limited employee access. Hard copies of recruitment lists, screeners, and other project specific data are only distributed as necessary to ensure project execution.
Upon completion of each project, all materials are shredded upon final report delivery, subsequent to a 60-day archive period unless clients specify otherwise. The Observation Baltimore staff makes every effort to adhere to all confidentiality requests of each client provided they are aligned with our internal practices.
Data security is an ever-growing concern in today’s world. As we learned recently, even the most secure networks and data storage systems are subject to breach. At Observation Baltimore, our goal is to make every effort to ensure the integrity of all information obtained from customers and respondents during the course of each project.
